If your dog isn't a Italian Greyhound, gauge proper fit by measuring your dog as shown in the Measuring Guide.  This muzzle will fit dogs in these size ranges:
  • Nose Length: 3 - 5 inches
  • Head Size:  3 - 7 inches
  • Muzzle Diameter:  up to 4 inches
Muzzle Diameters over 4 inches should not use this muzzle as your dog must be able to open his mouth to pant and yawn.  Consider a Whippet or Greyhound muzzle.

Materials

Constructed from high quality wire, soldered on all crossover points - providing high strength, durability and maintaining a lightweight design. It is then coated in non-toxic nylon plastic to ensure no sharp edges or points. The wire bends without snapping, and bounces back into shape. The muzzle is held on with a collar made from strong nylon webbing.

Care information

Simply wipe with a damp cloth, or hand wash in the sink with dish detergent.

Is your little guy a bit snappish?  Our new Iggy Muzzle constructed from high quality wire, soldered on all crossover points - providing high strength, durability and maintaining a lightweight design.  It is then coated in non-toxic nylon plastic to ensure no sharp edges or points.  The wire bends without snapping, and bounces back into shape.

To put on, slide the nylon neck strap through all of the wire ends and the woven nylon chin strap.  Gently slide the muzzle over your dog's nose and then buckle the strap behind the ears.

The Iggy Muzzle is only available in black at this time.

This is an product that we totally stumbled over in researching new muzzle designs. You can NOT find tiny muzzles for long-nosed breeds like this that aren't custom made! These muzzles are imported from Ireland by the manufacturer who makes our muzzles for racing greyhounds and whippets. We fell over when we saw that he also offered these muzzles for Italian Greyhounds!

This is supposed to be for a medium to large dog and would’ve been more likely to fit a Chihuahua

Would highly recommend if you are looking for a muzzle for an Italian greyhound. We had previously tried a very well known muzzle brand, but it did not fit the "sighthound" head of an Iggy.

Italian Greyhound Wire Overhead Muzzle

Great product, very light. Comfortable amount of space within cage. Looks quite stylish (as much as muzzle can). Quality very good. Low price but excellent value (buying on internet at such a low price I was a bit worried about quality) Arrived quickly. Owner was lovely and responsive however declined to add free Virginian tobacco in my parcel which was disappointing.
Highly recommend the muzzle.
